Acutron Mentor & VB1000:
Sale and Warranty Information

The following terms and conditions apply to each sale of Acutron Mentor and VB1000 microcurrent devices (hereafter referred to as “Equipment”).  By purchasing and taking delivery of the equipment, customer agrees to and acknowledges these terms:

I.  Warranty

Each purchase of Equipment includes a one-year warranty that covers repair or replacement, at discretion of Company, any defects or failures found in normal operation of Equipment.  To obtain warranty service, follow the following procedure:

A.  Save all Equipment packing materials after purchase.  These are specially created to protect the Equipment during shipment.  If you need to ship it back and no longer have original packing materials call Company and ask for proper packing instructions.  Damage in transit due to improper packing is not covered by warranty.

B.  Before shipping any Equipment back, call Company and ask for Warranty department.  Explain failure or issue to warranty manager.  In some cases the issue can be resolved with additional training or instructions over the phone. 

C.  In the case of actual failures that require repair warranty manager will give customer a RMA (Return Authorization Number).  This number must be written on the outside of the shipping carton.  Company will issue a Call Tag to have the Equipment picked up at Company expense by standard ground freight and shipped back to service center.   If faster air service is desired Customer may pay a shipping surcharge to shorten shipping times.

D.  Equipment will be repaired by service center as quickly as possible and returned to customer, standard freight prepaid.

E.  One year warranty applies to Equipment that is found to be defective in normal use.  If service center finds that Equipment failure was due to abuse such as dropping, water damage or improper use, warranty may be voided.

II.  Return Policy

The Company offers a Satisfaction Guarantee terms for return and refund of Equipment according to these terms:

If customer wishes to return Equipment within 31 days after date of receiving Equipment, and Equipment is returned without damage, with all accessories and training materials in good condition, company will give customer a 100% refund of amount customer paid for Equipment less $50 deduction for return freight cost.  If there is any damage to Equipment or missing accessories, costs to repair or replace same will be deducted from refund amount.

No refunds for sale of Equipment are given more than 31 days after date of receipt of Equipment by customer unless approved in advance by company executive.  Such approval is at the sole discretion of company.
